What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

This document is sample text written for a local design study. It is not legal advice and it governs nothing.

1. What we collect

Account information you give us: name, email address, and billing details where a paid plan is active. Billing details are held by our payment processor, not on our servers.

Project content you create: the text, images, structure and database records that make up your sites.

Technical information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit within the product.

2. How we use it

To operate the service — building, hosting and serving your sites, and processing payments where applicable.

To improve the product, using aggregated usage patterns rather than the content of individual projects.

To contact you about your account, service changes and security matters. Marketing email is opt-in and separately revocable.

3. AI processing

Prompts and project content are sent to model providers to generate results. Providers process this data to return output and do not retain it for training under our agreements with them.

You can disable AI features per project, in which case nothing from that project is transmitted for generation.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors who help run the service — hosting, payments, email delivery, analytics — each bound by contract to use it solely for that purpose.

We disclose data where legally required, and will tell you when we are permitted to.

5. Retention

Account and project data are retained while your account is open. After closure, projects are held for 30 days so the account can be restored, then deleted.

Backups are rotated on a 35-day cycle, so deleted content may persist in backups briefly after removal from live systems.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data from account settings, or by contacting support if the self-service route does not cover your case.

Where applicable law gives you the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, those rights are unaffected by this policy.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security. Analytics is aggregated and does not set identifying cookies in the default configuration.

Sites you publish inherit the same default, so most iPageForge sites do not require a consent banner unless you add third-party tracking yourself.

8. Changes

Material changes are announced by email and in the product at least 30 days before they take effect. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
